DIN 1.2738 steel grade is one common and popular steel grade. It is widely used as mold steel. But what is 1.2738 steel equivalent ? Some customer don't know it for sure. 1.2738 steel equivalents are P20+Ni or 718H at BaoSteel

The steel grade BS970 823M30 is equivalent to DIN 30CrNiMo8. You can refer to the post about 30CrNiMo8 steel round bar.

Wr. 1.7225 is DIN/EN standard steel grade. Some customers confuse the grade 1.7225 and 42CrMo4. So, Is Material 1.7225 same to 42CrMo4 ? According to DIN EN standard EN10083 latest version, 42CrMo4 is the steel name while 1.7225 is the steel number. So, both refers to the same materials.

What is 42CrMo4 Tensile Strength of Q+T ? To achieve high tensile strength, 42CrMo4 could be (quenching and tempering) Q+T heat treated.  Check in for the details.
